The hero doesn't matter that much but I would recommend using either Obyn for his early game popping power or Ben if you aren't playing chimps to generate extra money. Multiple 2-0-3 subs are good early/mid game and a sub commander (2-0-5) paired with multiple 2-0-4 subs is an absolutle killing machine late game. This strategy is by far the best one when it comes to maps with a lot of water such as off the coast or spice islands. The biggest one (5-2-0 mortar) also works well with striker and destroys moab class and ceramic bloons. You can later buff them with an alchemist or village to make this combo even more effective. Right before round 40, start adding as many 2-0-4 bombs near striker as possible.
